# EVS

EVS is the native token of Everstrike. It is used for governance (Everstrike DAO) and for utility within the Everstrike ecosystem.

EVS is not live yet (and a launch date is yet to be published). However, traders can already start earning EVS today, by completing trades on the Everstrike Mainnet, and by completing tasks related to Everstrike.

EVS earnings are linked to your Everstrike account, and will be redeemable at TGE (Token Generation Event). A date for the TGE is yet to be published. Follow our [X](https://x.com/everstrike_dex) and [Telegram](https://t.me/everstrike_dex) for updates.
